Pricing
- $10 per million input tokens, $50 per million output tokens on the Claude API. Exactly double Opus 4.8.
- Included in Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans at no extra cost through June 22, 2026.
- A request the safety layer refuses before any output costs nothing, and fallback credit covers the prompt-cache cost when a request reroutes to another model.

What the price includes
- 1M-token context window by default, with up to 128k output tokens per request.
- Adaptive thinking, always on, steered through the effort parameter.

Where it runs
Generally available on the Claude API, the Claude Platform on AWS, Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, and Microsoft Foundry, with a gradual GitHub Copilot rollout underway.
