    SherlockHolmes fandoms are legendary for one thing and while people know they’re book associated fan fiction is not the first thing that comes mind when one thinks of them. I guess what I was getting at was a more general reference to book fan fiction outside of more specialized fandoms.

    As a fan fiction author ( why yes, I write the stuff and am aware of the legalities of creating derivative works of copy written material. Which is what fan fiction is.
